Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. The same goes for video production. While it doesn’t make much sense for your business to lower its standards to a $250 video (if it’s too good to be true…), you probably don’t need to break the bank and create a Hollywood blockbuster. You’re putting your company’s reputation and professionalism on the line with all your marketing material and a good marketing video is no different. A good video for your company will depend on what you need, how many days you’ll need to shoot, how many days to edit and a few other production items that will all go into the final cost.
Don’t let anyone tell you there’s a set cost without understanding exactly what will work for your needs. A good corporate video, depending on the need, can stay near a low end of a couple thousand dollars while big budget, knock your socks off videos can easily go above ten thousand. Some of the cost depends on your message, how you deliver it and where it will be seen, but strategically planned, your video is well worth it and will change your business.
